Shanghai Liansheng Chemical Co., Ltd. is a Shanghai-Hong Kong joint venture established in July 1991 by Shanghai Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Shanghai Pudong Caolu Investment Management Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Aisen Development Co., LTD.
The company adopts the achievements of the national "Seventh Five-Year Plan" key project "POLYETHYLENE OXIDE Technology", specializing in the research, development and production of polyethylene oxide (PEO for short). It is the first high-tech enterprise in Shanghai to be capable of manufacturing polyethylene oxide (PEO) after the United States and Japan.
After years of meticulous operation and continuous research and development, the company has an annual production capacity of 3,000 tons of PEO. The various specifications of PEO products it manufactures can meet the demands of different industries at home and abroad.

In 2009, PEO-2S was awarded as a famous and quality product of Shanghai Chemical Industry.
In 2011, the Liansheng trademark was awarded the title of Famous Trademark of Shanghai. In 2012, the PEO product won the National Key New Product Award and the Shanghai Municipal New Product Award. In 2012, the polyethylene oxide project was granted the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. In 2014, the "Key Technologies and Industrialization of High-performance Polyethylene Oxide" won the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the Innovation Achievement Award of Pudong New Area. Since 2015, it has been recognized as a Specialized, Refined, Unique and Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise in Shanghai.
